Questions

Can I share an app with people outside my organisation?

No. There is no guest or portal sharing, by design. Everyone who uses an app is a member of your organisation with a role on the app. We will revisit this if customers ask for it.

Can a role see only its workspace's records?

Not yet. Row scope is all or owned. Workspace scope exists in the contract but records are organisation-wide today.

Is the App assistant in the app yet?

The App assistant, app chats and askAgent actions are available through the Apps API in this release. The Ask this app panel and askAgent actions in the designer are not in the web app yet. Agents in apps.

Can I import an app definition from the admin page?

Export is in the Apps inventory. Import is through the Apps API in this release. Administration.

Can an app join data across two live sources?

No. Sync one or both into Records and work on the copies.

What happens to my app when its maker leaves?

Nothing. Apps belong to the organisation. An admin changes the owner from the inventory; a synced source then asks the new owner for consent.

Is every write audited?

Every applied write produces a Records event naming the actor, the app version and the interface, linked into the evidence trail. Writes to a live source are audited and sealed into evidence but have no Records event. Write-request webhook events are sent best effort; record events cannot be lost.

Does a maps component send anything to a third party?

With the default tiles, each tile request tells OpenStreetMap which area someone is looking at, under the OSM tile usage policy. The operator can set a different tile provider through a key-free gateway, or turn tiles off, in which case maps show a coordinates list.

Which plan do I need?

Pro Plus or Enterprise for Apps, with the Microsoft 365 integration on the same plans for the Teams tab and Teams approvals. Free and Pro can browse the templates. Pricing.
