Getting started with Renly

From sign-up to your first useful agent conversation in about ten minutes.

Create your account

1. Go to renly.ai and choose Sign up. Renly is built for teams, so sign up with your work email. Personal addresses such as Gmail are not accepted.
2. Verify your email and create your organisation. Your organisation is the boundary for members, billing, data, and governance settings.
3. Invite teammates from Organization settings > Users. Everyone you invite joins under your organisation's plan and policies.

Find your way around

Work in Renly happens inside projects. Each project has its own chats, files, and connector configuration, so client work, internal operations, and experiments stay separate.

• Chats are where you talk to agents. Every chat can have its own agent, model, and working folder.
• Agents hub lists ready-made agents for sales, finance, engineering, operations, and more. Pin the ones your team uses.
• Workflows run multi-step, scheduled jobs with approval gates.
• To-dos and reminders follow you across web, desktop, and Android.

Your first chat

1. Open a project and start a chat. Pick an agent that matches the job, or stay with the default orchestrator.
2. Attach files, or connect a working folder so the agent can read and write documents where they already live.
3. Ask for something real: a summary of a contract, a first draft of a proposal, or an analysis of a spreadsheet.
4. Watch the work log as the agent works. Renly shows every step it takes, and asks for approval before anything that changes systems outside the chat.

Connect your tools

Renly ships with a large connector library including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub, Dynamics 365, Xero, and QuickBooks. Connect tools under Connections, then grant them per chat so agents only touch what you have chosen.
